562 JakLingko Drivers Targeted to Be Vaccinated Today

Total 562 JakLingko drivers were targeted to participate in vaccination service held at Saung KWK, Jalan Akses Marunda, RT 02/06, Semper Timur Urban Village, Cilincing Sub-district, North Jakarta.

Hopefully all drivers in North Jakarta can be fully vaccinated

North Jakarta Mayor, Ali Maulana Hakim appreciated and conveyed his gratitude to the organizers and stakeholders who have carried out this vaccination activity to provide convenience for JakLingko drivers.

"Hopefully all drivers in North Jakarta can be fully vaccinated. This vaccination is important to prevent and reduce the risk of transmission which is quite high related to their profession and for the safety of passengers," he said when monitoring vaccination activity which had been held for the fourth time, on Tuesday (9/14).

Meanwhile, North Jakarta Koperasi Wahana Kalpika (KWK) Head, Ramly H.I. Muhammad mentioned, COVID-19 vaccination for drivers was provided as an effort to improve JakLingko's public transportation service.

"Today's target is to vaccinate 251 drivers in morning and 311 drivers in afternoon. We divide the time of vaccination to reduce crowds," he explained.

He added that today's vaccination service at Saung KWK provided vaccination for second dose. However, drivers who haven't been injected with the first dose are welcomed.

"We use AstraZeneca vaccines. Before, we had facilitated first dose vaccination for 800 JakLingko drivers," he added.

According to him, all JakLingko drivers must have been vaccinated in order to provide optimal service to people who use public transportation.

"In the future, we will also carry out similar activity that targeting regular KWK driver and their families through collaboration with Cilincing Sub-district Health Center," he conveyed.

Besides vaccination, his side also provided free health services on the location, including blood sugar check, eye treatment, and free glasses distribution. In addition, there was also blood donation activity in collaboration with Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) Jakarta.
